Lum and Abner Comic Strip 
In one of the almanacs or the book, there is a splendid interior of the store, showing the huge potbellied cannon stove, and stovepipe running out the back of the store. Where is it? Got a scan handy! Also I looked at an old Sears catalog and found what appears to be the mystery object they picked up in Ft. Smith’s bankruptcy stock- it’s a two-horse sweep used for turning literal horsepower into rotary motion!

Sorry to be slow in my reply! I have that Almanac and I think I used that panel in a strip about 10 (?) years ago. It’s great! I often don’t show much store detail in the strip because of the amount of time it takes to draw it all, plus many folks have different ideas how it should look. We all have a Jot ‘Em Down Store in our own imaginations!
