Here is our audio production:

ABOUT THIS WEEK’S AUDIO:
Many of the background sounds were recorded in Mena and Pine Ridge, Arkansas!
Ruel Bain’s Band was recorded in June 1985 during the historic ceremony in Pine Ridge celebrating the addition of the Dick Huddleston Store to the National Register of Historic Places. Some of the applause and laughter came from a 1979 recording of the dedication of the Lum and Abner Monument in Mena!
Listen closely! When Lum is introduced in the strip, you’ll hear applause and someone shouting, “Yay, Lum!” In reality, this was a 1979 audience member cheering Chet Lauck!
