      2. Glad I finally found the right one! If the sound was good and clean, it may be one I transferred from the original disc. I wish I could get this audio problem fixed on my PC. Yes, I remember them getting the date confused. I think Gene Baker corrected it on the next episode.

  1. Maybe that was not the right episode. I will have to listen via my cell phone. The disc I have here contains a total disruption of the body of the episode and several celebrities stream in and take over the broadcast. Was that not in the one on Retro Radio Podcast? I can’t hear it on my PC due to an audio outage. I’ll check the cell phone to see,

    1. Robert, I found out what this is. This is not the actual broadcast, it is the rehearsal! I’m wondering if ABC recorded the rehearsal, secretly knowing the live performance would be disrupted, as a “just in case” measure. If the party got too wild, they could roll the recording. That’s just a theory! I used the “disrupted” live one on my 90th anniversary “Lum and Abner” show on YUSA on April 26, 2021. I’ll try to send a link if I can locate it before I have to leave for church duty.
