“Lum and Abner” Rerun #157!

“Dinnamite Lum” Chapter 4!
Most of this story is adapted from actual 1936 Lum and Abner radio scripts written by Chester “Chet” Lauck and Norris “Tuffy” Goff!
Sadly no recordings of these programs have been located!
With comic strip #157, we began our fourth year!
This script did not come from 1936 but was a new one. I introduced a pair of sisters and gave them “pun names” – Ruby Lith and Amber Lith!
Funny, eh? No? Then you’re not close to my age and never worked in graphic arts or commercial art and never used those products! Google ’em!
One odd thing happened after this strip was published.
Funky Winkerbean introduced a female character also named Ruby Lith!
Honest, mine appeared first! Honest!!!
